Support
Cambusa is run by one person, so support is direct. You are not writing to a ticket queue.
Email order.app.help@gmail.com and you will normally get a reply within one working day.
Getting started
New venues are set up by hand. Send your product list and your suppliers in whatever form you already have them — a spreadsheet, a photo of your order sheet, a list in your notes — and your venue will be built for you before you first log in.
Adding or changing products and prices
You can add, rename, reprice and reorganise products yourself from inside the app, and set the PAR level for each one. Prices live on the product, so when a supplier moves their price you change it once and your spend figures recalculate. Suppliers and products can also be imported in bulk from the Suppliers tab. If you would rather send a list and have it done for you, that is fine too.
Orders that will not send
Orders leave through WhatsApp, text, email or a phone call, using your own device. If nothing happens when you send, check that the supplier has a phone number or email address saved against them in the Suppliers tab, and that WhatsApp is installed and signed in. You can always use Copy and paste the order wherever you like. If it still fails, email the details and it will be looked at the same day.
Adding your staff
Your venue has its own code. Give it to the people who need access and they join from their own phone, signing in with Google. Give each person their own login rather than sharing one, so the order history shows who sent what.
There are three roles. Admin is the account holder, one per venue, and only they can change their own role. Managers run orders, products, suppliers and prices, and can see the spend figures. Staff count and order, but cannot see analytics. If you need a role changed, email me.
Closing your account
Write to order.app.help@gmail.com asking for your account to be closed. Your venue and its data are deleted within 30 days. You can ask for a copy of your order history first.
Reporting a problem
Screenshots help more than descriptions. Send what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead.
